Our commitment

Oncology Out Loud is committed to making oncologyoutloud.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to have a clear and usable experience, however they choose to browse the web.

The standard we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard widely used to measure how accessible digital content is for people with a range of disabilities. Following our most recent review, in August 2026, we are not aware of content that falls short of WCAG 2.1 AA. If you find something we have missed, we want to know about it.

Steps we have taken

As we build and review the site, our accessibility work includes:

• Giving each page a single main heading and a logical heading order, so the structure is easy to follow with assistive technology.

• Checking text and background colors across the site so that text meets recommended contrast levels at every size.

• Adding text descriptions to informative images, including the maps that show the geographic reach of our clinical network, and naming links and controls, such as the site logo, so screen readers announce them clearly.

• Connecting every form field to its label, keeping keyboard focus clearly visible as you move through the page, and respecting reduced-motion preferences.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We test the site with keyboard navigation and screen readers, and we review new pages and content against the same standard as the site evolves. We revisit accessibility whenever we make significant changes.

Known limitations

Some features may rely on third-party tools or embedded content that we do not fully control. Where we find that these create barriers, we work to provide an accessible alternative or to resolve the issue with the provider.

Contact us

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you come across a barrier, or have a suggestion for how we can improve, please email us at info@oncologyoutloud.com. It helps us respond quickly if you include the web address of the page and a short description of the problem.
